Hi there, I'm Cassidy!

​

I’m a third-generation Austinite with a passion for making memories and capturing them through my lens. Apparently, the whole “take a picture, it will last longer” thing really stuck with me.

​

My love for photography started when I was about eight years old, when my grandma would hand me a disposable camera at family gatherings. For her, it was probably a way to keep me busy. For me, it was a chance to let my imagination run wild and capture all the life happening around me. I loved the way the world looked through a lens, and more than 20 years later, I still do!

​

I started photographing professionally at 18. One of my very first clients was a senior session for one of my best friends, alongside another good friend of mine. Those two friends are now married with a beautiful baby boy, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing their wedding and their son’s newborn photos.

​

I think that story says so much about why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

​

I fell in love with the relationships it captures and the way photographs let us hold onto people, seasons, and memories as life keeps moving forward. Somewhere along the way, photography began growing right alongside me. I photographed seniors when I was one, weddings while planning my own, and years of pregnancies, newborns, and growing families. Now, as a new mom myself, that ability to preserve a season feels even more meaningful. I constantly find myself wishing I could make time stand still with my little family!

That is also why I love being a full-service photographer. I get to photograph people through so many chapters of life, as seniors become couples, couples become families, and little ones grow. Over the last 13 years, I’ve had the honor of documenting everything from first breaths to final photographs that later became treasured reminders of someone deeply loved. The significance of that has never been lost on me.

​

When we work together, it is important to me that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and able to have fun. I’ll guide you along the way, take the time to get to know you, and leave room for the real smiles, genuine laughter, and little in-between moments that make your story yours. While my photographs always reflect my own warm, timeless style, I also keep your personality, preferences, and personal style in mind so your final gallery still feels like you.

Big milestones or seemingly ordinary moments, they all matter. It is incredibly special to be welcomed into memories that would otherwise belong only to you and the people you love, and the fact that I get to preserve them is something I will never take for granted.

​

When I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me spending time with my family, worshipping Jesus on a Sunday, or eating my way through all the amazing food Austin has to offer!
